Sign a PDF Online
Type or draw a signature, then place it on a page of the document.
Sign a PDF Online is a free tool that runs entirely in your browser, with no data ever sent to a server. Type or draw a signature and place it on a page of a document.
What it's for
Quickly add a signature to a contract, a form, or a certificate, without printing or scanning the document. The signature is placed as an image on the chosen page.
What this tool does not do
This tool does not produce a legally certified electronic signature (eIDAS or equivalent) and does not support password-protected PDFs.
Frequently asked questions
Does this signature have legal value?
No: it's an image placed on the document, like a scanned handwritten signature. For a legally qualified electronic signature, use a dedicated certified provider.
Can I sign several pages?
This version places the signature on one page at a time. Re-run the tool on the result to add a second signature elsewhere in the document.
Are my files sent to a server?
No: processing happens entirely in your browser, on your device. No file is ever transmitted to a server, at any point.
