Privacy

What this site does with your files, in plain terms.

Your files are never uploaded

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. The file you drop is read from your disk, processed by your device's own processor, then saved back to your computer. No network request ever carries your data.

You can check this yourself : open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab, use any tool, and see that no request goes out. You can even disconnect from the internet once the page has loaded : the tools keep working.

No account, no tracking cookies

The site asks for no sign-up. It sets no advertising cookie, uses no analytics tool and embeds no third-party tracker.

Retention

Nothing is kept. Processed files live in the tab's memory and disappear the moment you close the page. No history is recorded, on your device or anywhere else.

The contact form, the one exception

If, and only if, you write to us through the contact form, three pieces of information reach us : the reason you picked, your message and your email address. They are used solely to reply to you. They are sent by email to the publisher, stored in no database, never sold or shared, and deleted once the exchange is over.

The form is protected against automated submissions by Cloudflare Turnstile. That service receives your IP address and technical signals about your browser in order to tell a human from a bot. It sets no advertising cookie and is not used to track you across sites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Legal basis : your own request, under Article 6.1.b of the GDPR, with bot protection resting on the publisher's legitimate interest.

Hosting

The site is made of static files hosted by Hostinger International Ltd, within the European Union. The host receives the usual requests any website gets : your IP address and browser type, in its technical logs. Those logs hold no information about the files you process, since they never pass through the server.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to any data you may have sent us through the contact form. To exercise it, write to contact@omnyscope.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Data controller : OMNYSCOPE, 14 rue de Rouen, 75019 Paris, France. See the legal notice.
