Every French Baguette Tools tool is free to use, with no sign-up and no hidden limit. There is no ad banner, no paid tier and no account to create to unlock a feature. A donation changes none of that : it does not make the site more complete, it simply helps it keep going.

Why ask for donations if nothing is uploaded

Every tool runs in your browser, on your own device : that is precisely what guarantees none of your files ever reaches us. But the site itself has to be hosted somewhere for you to reach it, and its domain name is renewed every year. On top of that comes the time spent designing each tool, testing it against real cases, then fixing and maintaining it over the long run.

What donations pay for, precisely

• The frenchbaguette.org domain name and its annual renewal.
• Hosting the site's files.
• The time spent adding new tools and maintaining the existing ones.

What will never change, donation or not

• No advertising, in any form.
• No account, no sign-up, no email address required.
• No tracker, whether from the site or a third-party service.
• No file sent to a server : everything stays on your device.
• Every tool already online stays entirely free.
